Nobody photographs the napkin. Everybody photographs the cone.
Customized Cone Sleeves makes printed sleeves for food cones — waffle, sugar, kids’ and fry formats, seasonal runs and parlour programmes, all die-cut to the cone they will actually wrap.

At the moment your product is at its best — handed over, held up, photographed — every other piece of packaging is already in the bin. The cup stayed on the counter, the bag never existed, and the only branded surface left in the world is a curved strip of paper around a cone.
That strip is a stranger piece of print than it looks. Flat, it is not a rectangle but an arc — a curved wedge that becomes a cone when wrapped — and artwork that ignores the geometry tilts and leans the moment it bends.
So we build sleeves the way the geometry demands: art designed on the die line, the die cut to your cone’s actual taper, and the sheet specified for grease — because everything about this product happens at the messiest moment of your customer’s day.
Why we exist
Three specifications decide whether a cone sleeve works, and none of them appears on a normal listing.
**The arc.** The flat sleeve is an annular sector, and art laid out on a rectangle warps when wrapped: baselines tilt, logos lean, patterns jump at the seam. We set your artwork on the actual die line so the wrapped sleeve reads level. It is the single biggest visible difference between suppliers.
**The taper.** Waffle, sugar, kids’ and fry cones are different angles, and a sleeve is cut to one of them. The wrong die slides off the cone or crushes the wafer rim. Your cone’s angle and top diameter are on the quote.
**The barrier.** A sleeve lives against butter, sugar and hot oil. Grease-barrier stock and food-safe inks — rated for what you actually serve — are stated, because an unbarriered sleeve goes translucent exactly when the customer is looking at it.
What we actually make
Waffle cone sleeves on the wide fast arc. Sugar cone sleeves on their own steeper die. Kids’ and mini sleeves with the artwork rebuilt for the tightest curve on the menu. Fry and snack cone sleeves with oil-rated barriers and heat-rated inks. Seasonal and event runs printed short against a die you already own. And parlour programmes — taper, barrier, art and seam held on file, reordered by case count.
Every quote states the cone angle, the top diameter, the barrier spec and the ink system.
What we do not make
Coffee cup sleeves — the hot-cup sleeve is its own product with its own specialist, and they are genuinely good at it. Printed collars for traffic cones — that is signage. Cups, carriers and straws — each has its own maker, and we will point you to the right one.
And we will not print your full-detail logo on a mini sleeve without rebuilding it first. Fine detail on the tightest arc closes into a smudge, and shipping a smudge with your name on it helps nobody.
The tests you can run yourself
Take any sleeve in your shop and look at the wrapped type. If the baseline tilts around the cone, the art was designed flat and bent later.
Slide the sleeve up and down the cone. If it moves freely, the taper is wrong — paper cannot grip a shape it was not cut for.
Watch a customer finish a cone on a warm day. If the sleeve has gone translucent and blotchy, there was no barrier — and that is the state it was photographed in.
How we price
No dollar figures on this site. Price moves with the format, the barrier spec, the run length and the quantity — and the one real setup cost, the die, belongs to your cone rather than your artwork, so it is paid once and reused by every design after. Send the details and a real quote comes back the same day, with a lowest-price guarantee if you are already holding a cheaper one. Ask that supplier which taper their die is cut to.
On branding
The sleeve is the frame of the product photo your customers take for you, so we design it like one: colour matched against your physical reference and proofed on the actual barrier stock — ink sits differently on kraft than on white — the pattern planned to meet itself at the seam, and the mark sized for the arc it lives on.
A cone is held at reading distance by someone happy. Very little packaging gets that audience, and none of it gets photographed more.
Dies, barrier specs, artwork and seam positions are held on file, so seasonal runs and reorders match the sleeves they join.
