FAQ

Custom cone sleeves questions, answered.

Everything buyers ask before they order — minimums, timings, artwork and print options.

What is the minimum order?

Our minimum order is just 12 sleeves — one dessert cart or one launch weekend is a normal order — with volume tiers for parlours, chains and stadium seasons.

How fast will my cone sleeves arrive?

Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and finished sleeves ship in about 2 weeks, with express turnaround available when a launch or event date is fixed.

Why do you keep saying a cone sleeve is an arc?

Because that is what it is: the flat die-cut is a curved wedge — an annular sector — that becomes a cone when wrapped. Artwork laid out on a rectangle tilts and leans the moment it bends around the taper; artwork designed on the arc wraps level. It is the single biggest quality difference between sleeve suppliers, and you can test it on any sleeve in your shop by looking at whether the type sits straight on the wrapped cone.

Does one sleeve fit every cone?

No. Waffle, sugar, kids’ and fry cones all taper at different angles with different top diameters, and a sleeve is cut to one taper. The wrong die slides off or crushes the rim. We cut the die to your actual cone — send it, or its measurements — and hold it on file so every future run fits.

Will the print survive grease and drips?

That is the specification, not a hope: grease-barrier stock matched to the product — butterfat for ice cream, a heavier oil rating for fries — printed with food-safe inks, all stated on the quote. An unbarriered sleeve goes translucent and blotchy exactly when the customer is looking at it.

Are your sleeves food-safe?

Yes — food-contact stocks and food-safe ink systems, stated on every quote. A cone sleeve touches the wafer and sits millimetres from the scoop, so we treat it as food packaging, because it is.

Can you match our brand colours exactly?

Yes — matched against your physical brand reference and proofed on the actual barrier stock, because ink sits differently on kraft than on white. Colours, die, barrier spec and artwork are all held on file, so reorders and seasonal runs match the sleeves they join.

Do you make coffee cup sleeves or traffic cone collars?

No. Hot-cup coffee sleeves are their own product with their own specialist, and printed collars for traffic cones are a signage job. Everything we make is a food cone sleeve — ice cream, fries and snacks — cut as an arc to a stated taper.
